Ukraine’s IT distributor, which sells a wide range of computer hardware, laptops and software, is on the lookout for QA Network Engineer.
Requirements:
– 2+ years of experience in manual testing
– Advanced experience of Linux environment configuration (OpenWrt)
– Deep understanding of network technologies
Readiness to learn fast
Language skills: good English, Ukrainian, Russian – fluent
Functional Responsibilities:
– Integration and testing new network equipment of all types of systems
– Testing and support network on systems of different manufacturers
Operation testing of LAN Networks Services, Datacenter LAN, DMZ, End-Points LAN, Multicast (MVR, IGMP)
– Testing KPI’s, LAN network and service optimization
– Ability to automate work with bash, shell, python
– Installing patches or updating new software. Implementation of the latest technologies in the network, integration with all existing nodes and systems
Specific knowledge areas:
Routing: configuration of dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
Network security: experience with Fortinet firewalls and DDoS protection, PaloAlto firewalls, IPSEC
Would be a plus:
– Higher education in telecommunications or in information technology
– Certification: ССNA, CCNP will be a plus.
– Vendor communication and cooperation
– Network automation tools (Ansible is preferable)
– Familiar with GPON, FXS, SIP, IPTV
– Experience in client-server interaction testing
– Experience in using different types of testing
– Experience in embedded testing
– Experience in test documentation
– Knowledge of telecommunication protocols: TCP/IP, MTP, ISUP, MAP, CAP, TCAP, SCCP, STP, RPVST, MSTP, VTP, VRRP, SNMP, DHCP, DNS, NTP, NAT, OSPF, BGP
– Knowledge of principles of building a VPN (remote access, site to site), a set of IPsec protocols
– Architecture of construction, principles of operation and administration of local and distributed networks
– Knowledge of the structure (architecture) of GSM / GPRS, UMTS, LTE networks, as well as the principles of interaction between subsystems and network elements
– Understanding standard IT communications protocols as well as basic knowledge of ZigBee, Z-Wave,Bluetooth, NFC and LoRaWAN
– Experience in collecting network dumps and their analysis
